Dunham returned to Jakarta to work where Scott reports the job provided Dunham with health insurance, a housing allowance, and a car.

Dunham was extremely ill, and her frustrations in the final year of her life are not for you or I to judge. However revelations in Scott’s new book suggest many personal statements made by the President in his campaign and national healthcare reform pitch to be inaccurate.

You will not find one single Democrat in America, much less a major liberal news network or newspaper which blames Barack Obama for increasing oil prices as they all blamed President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

Then there is the matter of "war-mongers" and "empire building."

President Bush was often attacked as "The World's #1 Terrorist." He had two "unnecessary, expensive, and illegal wars" going on. How horrible! Oddly enough, Barack Obama still has those two wars going on, and to them, Obama has added a third, Libya. Even in extremist San Francisco, the anti-war protests are small and don't begin to display the same enmity towards Obama that they expressed against President Bush, who was hung and guillotined in effigy, had red bullet holes painted on to his forehead, suggesting he be assassinated. Leftists in the film industry made a movie portraying Bush as being assassinated, and his assassin never caught. It garnered awards among the leftists who portray themselves as oh-so "tolerant" and "compassionate."

Then, as Japan suffered through a cataclysmic earthquake, and tsunami, and a partial meltdown of nuclear power plants, Obama.... went golfing, and appeared on ESPN to pick basketball teams.

Americans suffered through devastating tornadoes, and Obama flew Air Force One to Los Angeles to dine with Fat Cat Democrats and raise money for his 2012 presidential election.

Finally, after a week, one pressie asked Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs about the bowing down incident. Gibbs attempted to downplay it, claiming "That was a week ago. People are worried about the economy. He didn't bow down, he used both hands to shake the king's hand." Yeah, right. Who you gonna believe, Robert Gibbs, or your own lyin' eyes?

· He dismissed charges against the perpetrators of the bombing of the USS Cole
· He announced the shut-down of Gitmo, and apologized to the Islamic world for its existence

He goes golfing, and attends the Gridiron Dinner that evening with his slobbering media sycophants. The next day, he fills in his NCAA blanks on ESPN, unwilling to interrupt his schedule long enough to support Japanese leadership via the basic gesture of a reassuring interview with its national news service, NHK. First lady Michelle Obama appears to have violated Illinois law -- when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!

The drama began after Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.

After finishing at the machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.

She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.

"She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband's agenda going," Campbell said.

According to a pool reporter from the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES at the scene, the conversation took place INSIDE the voting center, not far from the booths.

Illinois state law -- Sec. 17-29 (a) -- states: "No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place [or] within 100 feet of any polling place."

A top Illinois State Board of Elections official tells the DRUDGE REPORT that Mrs. Obama -- a Harvard-educated lawyer -- may have simply been ignorant of the law and thus violated it unintentionally.

"You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?" the official explained late Thursday. "I mean, she's pretty well liked and probably doesn't know what she's doing."

When questioned about the brazen nature of Mrs. Obama's campaigning, press secretary Robert Gibbs defended the action.

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars plus additional expenses for my vacation in Spain. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. We only booked 70 rooms for our friends, staff and family. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.
Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. It costs only $11,500 per hour to operate Air Force 2 and each additional plane for the other members of our party group. These are only rough estimates, but they are close (who's counting?). That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days. Will write more from Martha's Vineyard where we will spend our sixth vacation this year with more of our family and friends.

Your advocacy is very American and very important."

Conservatives don't even have to disrupt a liberal's speech to be maligned, whereas liberals congratulate their own for much worse.

They effectively blocked every effort by Bush and Republicans to avert this catastrophe beginning at least in 2005.

In fact, Obama has signed plan after plan adding trillions to our deficits.

This administration has already admitted that the deficit will increase 9 trillion dollars in the next decade, 2 trillion more than the previous estimate. At its start, in 1966, Medicare cost $3 billion. The House Ways and Means Committee estimated that Medicare would cost only about $ 12 billion by 1990 (a figure that included an allowance for inflation). This was a supposedly "conservative" estimate. But in 1990 Medicare actually cost $107 billion. (Source: reason.com)

Since leaving my post as CIA director almost three years ago, I have remained largely silent on the public stage. I am speaking out now because I feel our government has crossed the red line between properly protecting our national security and trying to gain partisan political advantage. We can't have a secret intelligence service if we keep giving away all the secrets. Americans have to decide now.

A disturbing epidemic of amnesia seems to be plaguing my former colleagues on Capitol Hill. After the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, members of the committees charged with overseeing our nation's intelligence services had no higher priority than stopping al-Qaeda.... while I was chairman of the House intelligence committee, senior members of Congress were briefed on the CIA's "High Value Terrorist Program," including the development of "enhanced interrogation techniques" and what those techniques were...

Today, I am slack-jawed to read that members claim to have not understood that the techniques on which they were briefed were to actually be employed....

I fear that in the years to come this refrain will be heard again: once a threat -- or God forbid, another successful attack -- captures our attention and sends the pendulum swinging back. There is only one person who can shut down this dangerous show: President Obama.

Unfortunately, much of the damage to our capabilities has already been done. It is certainly not trust that is fostered when intelligence officers are told one day "I have your back" only to learn a day later that a knife is being held to it. After the events of this week, morale at the CIA has been shaken to its foundation.

"We've spent less in Afghanistan in seven years than we spend in a month in Iraq," Sen. Biden said.

According to the Congressional Research Service, spending on the war in Afghanistan since 2001 has been about $172 billion. We've been spending a little less than $10 billion a month in Iraq. Sen. Biden was off by a factor of about 1,700 percent.

While most of the things Sen. Biden said that are not true could be chocked up to ignorance, stupidity (he isn't nicknamed "Slow Joe" for nothing), or gilding the lily, as in his recent visit to a restaurant that went out of business 20 years ago, some were outright lies.

The greatest of these was when Sen. Biden denied Sen. Obama had said he would meet face to face with Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without preconditions. Sen. Biden was present at the Democratic primary debate in South Carolina in July of last year when Sen. Obama made that pledge, which he subsequently repeated several times.

"The truth matters," Sen. Biden said at several points in the debate. Maybe not so much to him.
